Besceglia Hall is the Founder and Visionary of Iota Alpha Mu Sorority, Inc., where she also serves as National President. She is a graduate of The Spirit & Truth School of Spirituality, holding a bachelor’s degree of Ministry in Biblical Studies, a Master of Ministry in Metaphysical Education, and a Doctorate of Ministry in African Diasporic Metaphysical Spirituality. She also earned a Bachelor’s in Metaphysics from the University of Metaphysics and is currently pursuing a Master’s and Doctorate Degree in Holistic Life Counseling. As the proud owner of Hands to the Root Sacred Healing, she supports the collective in healing holistically across all areas of life. A devoted caregiver advocate and empowerment and spiritual strategist, she is, above all, a loving daughter, sister, friend, and mom

Our mascots and flower each carry a sacred spiritual meaning for our sisterhood. The Purple Martin represents community, protection, and the joy of returning home to one another. The Dove with an olive branch symbolizes peace, reconciliation, and the promise of new beginnings. The Camellia flower reflects quiet strength, grace, and enduring love in the face of challenge. The Dragonfly embodies transformation, resilience, and the courage to step fully into our true, divine selves.

Our sorority colors carry deep spiritual meaning. Forest green reflects growth, healing, and being firmly rooted as we rise. Deep purple symbolizes spiritual wisdom, sacred leadership, and our divine purpose. Silver/platinum represents clarity, protection, and the power to transform challenges into light. Together, these colors embody who we are as a sisterhood and how we show up in service.
